Today, we're celebrating International Women's Day.
In Guatemala, respect for women's rights is still lagging behind.
This has knock on effects regarding school drop out rates, literacy levels, and economic opportunities.
Thankfully, nonprofit organizations have tremendously supported women and girls all over Guatemala.
These nonprofits have provided resources and tools that enable women and girls to lead more healthy, independent lives.
